7.5 miles (12km) undulating walk with several steep climbs and a few areas of muddy track.

We walk north up the Ebbor Gorge, then east across an area of high ground on an old drovers track with excellent views of the Somerset Levels (weather dependent). We then drop south and into Wells for a café stop. After refreshments we have around 40 minutes of walking to take us back to the start point.

Bring a lunch/snack which we will have at some point prior to visiting a full on Christmas decorated Wells; this is a lovely time to visit the smallest city in England. Good walking boots and waterproofs are essential for this walk; there will be mud, and walkers need a reasonable level of fitness for the short, but steep climb through the gorge. (Grade B/2 Boots)
