A wintery ascent of Pen y Fan, the highest point in the Bannau Brycheiniog, taking a steady circular route onto the central plateau, ascending Corn Du before moving on to the Pen y Fan summit. Expect a proper winter hill day: cold temperatures, moderately strong winds on the tops, and the possibility of snow or ice underfoot.

We’ll move at a sociable pace and will expect to cover approximately 8km with 547 metres of elevation. The hike should take 4-5 hours.
