An approx. 5-6 mile walk through the valley beside the River Chew to the Compton Inn for a swift half then home possibly the same way to avoid not being too late back and needing torches. The views are lovely both ways! That said please bring a head torch/torch if you have one in case we a delayed getting away from the pub for any reason….
