● Kayaking and Open canoe, easy trip for those who have completed Taster 1 Star.

● Very scenic canal trip with great views of the Severn valley and the Cotswolds.

● Saul Junction to Hardwicke Bridge, (North to pub) with return trip.

● Normally a day trip.

How to get there:

● Meet at the club store off Muller Road, Eastville  9.00 am, load and leave by 9.30.

● Access point: Saul Junction - Large public car park (pay and display). OS Grid SO (756,094)

From store, proceed to M32, M4 (West), M5 (North), exit at Junction 13, turn left onto A419, turn left

onto A38, turn right onto B4071 to Frampton on Severn, pass through village to Saul, at church turn

right, proceed to canal, just before canal bridge turn left down lane alongside canal to car park at far

end (pay and display £3). Public toilets next to Canal Preservation Trust building (next toilets at

lunch stop pub). Launch from rowing club pontoon.

Minimum Level of competence: Taster - 1 Star or equivalent experience.

Kit List: Inland touring + packed lunch and water. Facilities: Public toilets, tea shop at

Soul Junction, pub at lunch stop Hardwicke Bridge & to finish a pub at Frampton-on

Severn on the village green.

Timings: Meet at club store: 9am  Leave Bristol: 9.30am, Get to access point at: 10.15am

Ready for shuttle at: NA, Get on water at: 10.40 am, lunch at Hardwicke Bridge (north side

of bridge), there is a pub with toilets, Get off water at 3.10pm. Time for pub or ice cream.
