This course will cover the skills needed to lead climb and belay outdoor sport routes. You must be signed off as Indoor Lead Competent and happy to lead grade 5a indoors to take part. You must also have your own helmet, harness, belay device and shoes. 

The course will take place at an outdoor sports venue.  It’s weather dependent and the event may need to be canceled or moved indoors if the rock is wet.

We are a friendly and social bunch –  if there is a pub near the venue, we usually meet up after the climb.
