Activity Type:
- Kayaking & Canoeing
Start date:

Details (public view):
Canoe through Bristol's historic centre, down the River Avon and back along the Floating Harbour.
This is an easy paddle for canoeists who have some experience in moving water.
Please contact me if you're uncertain about your level in a canoe.
We will launch from St Annes (east Bristol) and paddle down the river Avon, over the flooded Netham Weir and along the Avon Cut to view Brunel's Suspension Bridge at the Cumberland Basin. Then we'll portage up a muddy ramp into the floating harbour and return to St Annes via Netham Lock.
It may be possible to open the trip up to long kayaks, if a suitable leader becomes available.
Cost per Person/Deposit:
£0.25
