Cardigan (Aberteifi) is developing a reputation as a centre for high quality local produce and for local artists and artisans. The first national eisteddfod was held in Cardigan Castle in 1176, and the castle and its grounds have been recently refurbished. The all Wales costal passes through the town, giving easy access to the coastal path.
