A fairly gentle ride to wake your road legs up if you've been resting them over winter. A few bumps on the way out and one steady hill coming back.  

East Bristol start with free parking, and on the Bristol-Bath Railway Path for anyone who wants to ride there, up the Chew valley for cake at New Manor farm shop cafe and back via Keynsham.  I'm expecting to take it gently and get back by about 6.

Lights definitely needed (some unlit lanes near the end), also bring water, snacks, spare tube.

That's just under 30 miles in old money.
