Road Cycling and MTB Meeting   (and Rides)

Saturday 3^rd March, 14:30 (Rides from 12:00)

Location: Greedy Goose Café, Gatcombe Farm Shop, Weston Road, Flax Bourton, Bristol BS48 3QT

​We are having a get together of all cyclists for a chat, gossip and general discussion of all things biking in the club. What has gone on. What we might be doing. Who had the muddiest, wettest, worst, best, biggest climbs and greatest downhills!

This is for all those who have been riding during the last year and anyone else who has an idea they might like to ride during the next year.

We will even allow climbers, kayakers and walkers who might want to join the 2 wheeled bright side. Non-members are very welcome to join us for the social. If you want to ride, you can join the club beforehand or on the day.

Rides:

To make it a bit more interesting we are also running a Road ride and Mountain bike ride from the venue leaving at 12:00 so be there for 11:45.

Roadies will follow the tarmac, MTBers will get on the trails and we all meet back for refreshments between 14:00 and 14:30.

The Road ride will be about 20 miles and the MTB route about 10 to 15 miles and both about 2 hours.

Those who can’t make the rides can turn up anyway around 14:15 under their own steam.

There is plenty of parking and we will have the use of the conservatory for ourselves.

It would be great if you could let us know if you are coming, which type of ride you might do, or if you are just turning up for meeting, so we can warn the venue of numbers and bike leaders of those biking.
