For those who have undertaken their Paddle UK - Canoe or Kayak Explore Award and wish to progress to a moving water environment. This one day course introduces the knowledge and skills together practical sessions to enable you to be a member of a led group in a dynamic water environment. 

The course includes "reading" moving water, hazard awareness, protocols, self-rescue and assisted rescue (as casualty swimmer), a full day out using Symonds Yat rapids.

If you have undertaken this course previously and wish to refresh the above please feel free to contact the organiser, please note that there are a limited number of Coaches available so students will not be paddling on this day and priority will be given to those who have not undertaken the course before.

There will be follow on day course (dates TBC) to learn paddling your chosen craft kayak or canoe in a moving water environment (grade II).
