This weekend is to introduce people with Explore/2* level paddling skills to the delights of sea kayaking. Day one will focus on paddling skills and tips, and getting used to your boat, and will be in a sheltered location, for example Poole Harbour. On day 2 we will do a sheltered day trip, around the coast if conditions allow.

You will need your own sea kayaking equipment but you can hire this from AOAC through the website. 

Completing this weekend will enable you to access more sea kayaking skills coaching and go on future club-led sea kayaking trips of an appropriate level (look out for them on the club calendar).

Pre-requisite: You need to be a competent paddler at Explore/2 Star standard to participate (possession of the award is not essential).
