*Coronavirus Update - Unfortunately all events are cancelled until future notice. This is in line with the latest government advice that we should now be avoiding social contact with others and avoiding all but essential travel. Refunds will be issued where events are cancelled although this is taking time to set up. All Club memberships are currently being frozen. The Committee will provide any future updates to all members by email. Subscribe to the newsletter and check out the Facebook page to keep in touch with the Club and other members. Stay safe and hopefully it won't be too long until we are all back out on the rivers, the hills and the trails.*

Low Cost - Events are organised on a non-profit basis and are financially underwritten by the club ensuring that members don’t end up out of pocket if something unforeseen happens. And if all of that isn’t enough the club is just £30 per year to join!
People Like You - We have members in all age ranges and from all walks of life. What our members share is a love of being in the great outdoors and sharing their experiences with others. We are a very sociable club.
Coaching - We run formal coaching sessions, that follow National Governing Body guidelines, such as the British Canoeing star awards in canoeing and kayaking.
Development - If you are already or want to become an outdoor activities leader the club can provide opportunities to practise and may subsidise your external training costs.
Equipment - We have a range of equipment for members to hire at very low cost. This includes, canoes, kayaks, mountain bikes, tents, and a plethora of general kit.
Organisation - Events are organised by experienced members who know what they are doing. All needs are catered for and the faff factor is low!
