Approx. 4 mile walk up the Golden Valley through the former Ochre works, and completing a circuit of the still active large quarry. Lots of wildlife and vegetation, views and former and present day industrial activity to engage with! There are a few short steep and if wet, slippery sections (some of the worst I can avoid if preferred).

A snack/drink and rain jacket may be useful this summer!
