An approx. 6 mile walk through the valley beside the River Chew to the Compton Inn for a swift half then home possibly the same way to avoid not being too late back. The views are lovely both ways! Please bring a head torch/torch if you have one as we’ll be walking back in the dark.

Expect some mud if there has been rain before the walk; the riverbank is a little muddy in places and long grass is wet.

Please confirm you are coming by email or text. Keynsham train station is only 10 mins from the start point. Allow for a little traffic locally as the ring road and A4 are busy routes, with some roadworks from Bristol/Bath.
