Join us on this stunning ride through the Chepstow Green tunnel and along the Wye valley to Tintern. The route will take us up into the hills above Tintern and into the Severn valley. The route is varied terrain from Gravel track river path to hard earth sections to tarmac road. The ride is suitable for experienced cyclists as there are a number of long steep climbs on tarmac lanes. It is suitable for hybrid/ road bikes with 28 millimetres tyres or greater or gravel bikes. E BIKES are also welcome. If there are any doubts please contact the organiser. En route there are a number of lovely stops for refreshments and the views are to die for. 

The tunnel itself is only open from April till end September because of breeding bat populations. Bright lights within the tunnel are prohibited but there is some lighting to enable a way through.   

Please note. This is a similar ride to the one arranged last month but with slight deviation and is back by popular demand and allow those unable to come last time
