Where to stay:

● Oldaport Farm Cottages, nr Kingsdon, Modbury, South Devon. Oldaport Cottages

● Four high quality holiday cottages taking, 6 +6+4+4 people, approx. 30 minutes from Dart, 10

minutes from Bigbury. Farm at Grid ref: (636494) on OS sheet 202

How to get there:

● M5 south to Exeter, A38 south to Wrangton Cross junction sign posted to Ugborough, Ermington and

Modbury, turn left at end of slip road, after 1 mile at cross roads turn right onto the A3121 to

Ermington, keep on main road through village, turn left and short left again onto A379 towards

Modbury, pass over River Erme, 0.25 miles on left  bend, turn right onto minor road to Kingsdon /

Orcheton. Keep on this narrow lane for 1.5 miles (pass through Orcheton Hamlet) to the top of the

second hill, entrance to Oldaport on right. Park in car park at rear of cottages.

Canoeing Information:

Type of Canoeing:  White water for Intermediate, Leader and Advanced Leader paddlers depending on

rivers and section.

Grade: II to V
