If you are already of BCU 1 star standard and you’re interested in developing your kayak and canoe skills then this is the course for you. 

The 2 star is the minimum requirement for many AOAC activities, which means that you’ll be able to take part in loads more one you’ve completed the course. Keep an eye on the calendar for trips and activities!

Thursday 2nd July, 6.45pm ready to start at the AOAC store (container in outer car park) at Riverside Inn, Saltford Marina, The Shallows, Saltford BS31 3EZ. The evening will consist of preparation for course, equipment fitting and theory session followed by a social in the Riverside Inn.

Saturday and Sunday you will be working on your kayak skills and then a further Saturday of open canoeing.

Estimated Budget: The course costs £120, which includes £30 equipment hire from AOAC.
