The walk will be led by club member Dougal Matthews who will provide the equipment, instructions on use and some cards so that we can see what the bats look like. We will hear bats communicating and possibly see them dependent upon light. Dougal will share his considerable knowledge of bats, conservation in the local area and we may be joined by members of the local conservation group Friends of Eastwood Farm. We will start at 7.30pm and expect to be back for a drink around 9pm.

We will walk in the dark on local paths and land probably in Eastwood Farm, so please wear stout foot ware, bring a torch/head torch, some warm clothing and waterproofs dependent on weather.

Please join us for food ahead of the walk, we will book a table and need to order by 6.00pm to ready to walk. Please let me know by Thursday evening if you wish to eat  and I will book a table.
