8.5 mile circular walk west along the Ridgeway,the turning south down the Og valley to the village of Ogborne St George. We take a look at Barbury Castle, the prehistoric hill fort too. The landscape is of gentle hills, open tracks and far reaching views. As a result it may also be exposed and require good wind and waterproof clothing this time of the year. There may also be some muddy sections and suitable walking boots are required. Assume there are no cafes and bring lunch, snacks and a drink.
