A fascinating 11.5 Mile walk linking outstanding prehistoric remains. From the stone circle at Avebury, the route leads to West Kennet Long Barrow; a stone-chambered tomb dating from 3700BC which can be explored. A gradual climb leads to the Wansdyke and then on to Milk Hill, which has fine panoramic views of the area. We descend via East Kennet and finally end on National trust land to walk the Stone Avenue back to Avebury village. Pub to end.
