Our intermediate/advanced ski and boarding trip 2020 takes the AOAC to Les Arcs, France. Spread along the edge of a beautiful forest in the Tarentaise Valley, Les Arcs 1800 is the biggest and liveliest of the Les Arcs villages and benefits from sunshine and picturesque views. Access to the ski area is very easy, with a choice of altitude skiing in the Arc 2000 bowl or long, tree lined red and blue runs down to Peisey Nancroix, or, in the other direction, to Arc 1600 and Arc 1950. There is plenty to look forward to, with Mont Blanc and Foret two of the most popular regions and the Aiguille Rouge provides a 2,000m vertical drop with some magnificent views.
The hotel is based right at the foot of the nursery slopes and offers ski-in/ski-out convenience. A jazz bar and attractive, spacious lounge with log fire and live music most evenings.
For relaxing after a hard day on the slopes there is a spa with small relaxation pool, whirlpool, sauna and steam room (may be at additional cost)
We have JUST 20 PLACES available and given the popularity of the AOAC's annual ski trip, the trip is highly likely to sell out straightaway. The cost, including all area lift pass is £1,275 and your place can be secured with an initial deposit of £300, the balancing payment being due in November 2019.
Rooms are twin share with shower/private bath, WC. As well as the full area lift pass, the price of the holiday includes evening meals for 7 nights, including free wine and buffet breakfast. Free ski or board hire or ski carriage is also included. The price includes an 8% contingency allowance for any unforeseen additional costs eg. exchange rate/loss of group discount should we be unable to fill all spaces booked. Any excess contingency allowance will be refundable should no additional costs materialise.
